Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school

Book Parade
Book Week takes place in August with a different theme each year . The week is celebrated through Australian children's literature in the school and within the library including activities, and storytelling. The CBCA also announces the winners of its Book of the Year Awards during this event. We top this all off with a book parade for children to dress up as their favourite characters.

Harmony Day
The central theme for Harmony Day is "Everyone Belongs", emphasizing inclusivity, respect, and the importance of cultural diversity within Australia.

NAIDOC Week
- It recognizes the deep and ongoing connection First Nations people have to land, culture, and community.
- It celebrates First Nations history, language, art, and achievements.
- It’s a time for all Australians to learn about and reflect on the history and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
