This year we are excited to be forming two debating teams consisting of Year 5 and 6 students who will be participating in the Premier's Debating Challenge. During the year students interested in being involved will attend debating sessions held at school at lunch time where they will learn about primary school debating including rebuttal, arguments, definitions and speakers' roles. They will have the opportunity to debate among each other and other schools. Eight students were lucky enough to attend a Debating workshop held by senior adjudicators and coaches from the education department. They had a lot of fun and are eager to teach other students what they learnt.
