Congratulations to Timothy W of Kindergarten and Emmison F of Year 5 who competed at the Central Coast Public Speaking final last week at Warnervale Public School. Timothy delivered a convincing speech about his puppy Hugo. He spoke about the responsibilities involved in caring for a pet and the joy it brings. Emmison is to be commended for finishing in third place in the overall competition. She delivered an engaging speech about environmental issues affecting us all. Both students performed very well communicating their topic confidently and passionately. Public speaking is feared by many but is such an important skill to accomplish as it assists us in all areas of life. Well done Timothy and Emmison. We are very proud of you both.
