The work was completed today on our new tiered seating area on playground 2 and it looks fabulous. New foundations, fencing, seating and drainage have been installed. On Friday for the Fathers' Day breakfast the area will be open for the first time. We are still awaiting the arrival of the signature pavers. These are due to arrive late next month and will be installed during the Term 3 school holidays. An official opening of the area will be held at our 125 Year celebrations on Saturday 27 October at midday.
New fencing has also been installed separating the school from the bottom car park. This fencing will provide additional safety and will stop children from running into the car park. A safety gate has been installed and will be locked from 2:50pm – 6:00pm. This is to ensure the safety of children who attend WOOSH and provide additional security for the school.
Please do not encourage your children to meet you in the car park for pick-ups in the afternoon. Children are to wait either at the hall steps or in the Kiss and Drop area. Car parks are not a safe place for children. Let's all work together to KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE!
