It was great to see new faces at our P&C AGM on Monday evening. All positions were declared vacant and nominations were taken to fill the positions for the 2024 school year.

Our P&C for 2024 will be:

President – Lidia Catalano

Vice Presidents – Linda Scown and Katie Leeds

Secretary – Ian Renowden

Treasurer – Georgia Carroll

Fundraising Chair – Sharris Smith

Fundraising Sub Committee - Bonnie Doolan, Julia Hughes and Rebecca Law

Representatives (merit selection and committees) - Ian Renowden and Rosie Chase

P&C association’s auditor – Natalie Howells

I welcome and thank our newly elected P&C Executive for 2024 and look forward to working with them.

I would also like to thank our fabulous 2022/23 P&C for their ongoing support and tremendous efforts throughout the past 12 months. As students finish up at Woodport, so do parents’ involvement in the school. I would sincerely like to thank Sara Mitchell who has led the P&C for the past two years as President and has been a valued member for seven years where she was heavily involved in all facets of the school, volunteering in the classroom, helping to organise stalls and discos and many fundraising activities.

This year, it has been lovely to welcome new families to the team and see many new faces at our AGM. We are  fortunate to have such a great P&C body which is extremely motivated in its efforts to support our students and school. The P&C is a voluntary group of parents and community members who work collaboratively to assist our school in a variety of different capacities.
