Erina High School

On Wednesday 2 April all Year 6 students are invited to attend Erina High School’s Sport Fun Day to enhance and support their transition to secondary education. Students who won’t be attending Erina High School in 2026, are welcome to attend the day. The program involves all students from Erina High School’s partner primary schools participating in a broad range of sporting activities that will enhance their skills of collaboration, as well as give them an opportunity to get to know their peers and teachers from Erina High School. The day is designed to make the transition into secondary schooling positive and fun. Year 6 students will travel to Woodport PS in the morning as normal. They will be walked to Erina High School accompanied by Mrs Minter and Mrs Eaton at 9:10am with the day commencing at 9:20am. The day will conclude at 2:00pm and students will be walked back to Woodport PS for their regular transport home. No canteen orders are to be placed on this day. Students will need to: • Arrive at Woodport PS as normal in the morning before 8:50 am. • Wear sports uniform and their school hat. Sunscreen is to be applied in the morning and packed for the day. • Bring their own recess and a water bottle. A BBQ lunch will be provided with vegetarian options available. Schedule and information: • There will be various sport sessions running through the day. Students will be allocated groups which they will participate in for the day. • There will an introduction and welcome at EHS beginning at 9.20am. • Students will have a break at 11:10 am. Students will not have access to the canteen at EHS. • Lunch will begin at 12:35pm and students will be provided with a sausage sandwich.
