The Woodport Green Team have been working hard to find ways we can eliminate plastic waste in our playground. As part of this initiative, the Green Team designed posters that are proudly displayed in classrooms and will be on our new bin system that will be displayed prominently on playground 1 (P1) this week.
Additional white Return and Earn bins have also been placed around the school and in each classroom. Our wonderful team have taken on leadership roles to help students learn about how to recycle these plastics correctly. Green Team students can be easily recognised by their green 'Waste Warrior' hats.
Please have a chat to your child about the importance of recycling and how to do this correctly.
